Amanda Vincent

Name: Amanda Vincent
Email: agvincent14@gmail.com
Neighborhood: University
Years at Graland: 1
Why did you choose Graland? We were very drawn to the full child approach that Graland incorporates into its curriculum and teaching methods, in addition to the emphasis it places on citizenship and character building. The facilities are also above and beyond, and enable students to explore a myriad of interests and potential passions in a supportive, nurturing environment.
Grade: Preschool
What are some of your child(ren)'s interests & extracurricular activities? Our child loves all things dinosaurs, reading, spending time at the Denver zoo, exploring new cities, and trying out new sports. I've also been working diligently to indoctrinate him into Philadelphia sports culture (much to my husband's chagrin and DC loyalism). Our son became a big brother to his sister last summer, and has gradually started enjoying this new responsibility and adventure.
Tell us some fun facts about you and/or your family: My husband, Chris, and I moved out to Denver in 2018 and are originally from Philadelphia and DC, respectively. We landed in Denver, thanks to having had family who already settled down roots here--my brother-in-law is a Denver native, and Graland alum! In addition to our children, we have a 10-year pup named Hamilton that we adopted while living in North Carolina, and who's name pays homage to the town of our alma mater (Colgate University).
