Why did you choose Graland? There were many factors that went into this choice but we were immediately attracted to Garland's emphasis on the well rounded student. We appreciated that the school isn't strictly academically focused but that Graland sees the student as a whole- from arts to athletics. We have a large family and wanted an academic experience that provides the resources to nurture each child and their passions on an individual basis. Education isn't a one size fits all and we feel that Graland creates a happy community for each of our children as individuals and for us as a family.

What are some of your child(ren)'s interests & extracurricular activities? Soccer, basketball, lacrosse, golf, gymnastics, chess, skiing, hiking, rock climbing- we've got an active bunch!
Tell us some fun facts about you and/or your family: I grew up in Virginia and moved to Colorado on a whim 12 years ago from New York City. I met Sean (a Michigan transplant) within the first week. It was meant to be! We travel back east often to see my large family, spend as much time in the mountains as schedules allow and try to have a night we call "Board Games and Burgers" once a month (we order burgers from a new place and try a new board game)!
