During social studies, third graders are learning about Colorado life zones through art, writing and critical thinking.

This week they are also trekking up
Chief Mountain to observe the various life zones and ecosystems that are found in Colorado and to enjoy the opportunity to work together and support each other in achieving a common goal. It's all preparation for the upcoming life zone projects when each student will select an animal within a specific life zone to study and share in-depth. GO climb, Grade 3!
