Grade 1: Slipper Day with a Purpose

First graders raised money and awareness for the homeless yesterday. They were asked to earn $1 or more from chores in order to wear their slippers in class and later made coloring books for Volunteers of America Family Motel and Brandon Center. The books are in English and Spanish, giving the students the chance to practice their language skills. Nice job!
